Celebrated my birthday with Ivan, Kesler and J'den. Thanks for the pressies.

It's funny how Ivan tried to get familiar with his new car. Though with many years of experiences, he still need a little time to get used to driving a smaller car. Performance wise for Jazz is still good.
The Cenotaph was erected in memory of those who sacrificed their lives in First World War. It was decided after Second World War, the memorial should also remember those who sacrificed their lives too.
In remembrance of war hero Mr Lim Bo Seng, the monument, Lim Bo Seng Memorial was built. He sacrificed his life to protect his fellow comrades from being captured by the Japanese Army.Lastly, the Civilian War Memorial is dedicated to those who perished during the Japanese Occupation. The four pillars rise to pinnacle of 92.5 metres symbolized shared experiences by the four major races. Remains of unidentified war victims were buried beneath the monument.
There was also a guest presenter who shared something that do trigger my mind on how pampered we are now. He did mention on why people no longer find it meaningful to celebrate Chinese New Year. It is true that when I was young, I do look forward to CNY as it’s only during that period I do get to have a sumptuous meal. Even for soft drinks, I do get to drink it to my heart fulfill. Yes, indeed, our lives are better and we can get new clothes any time when we only get to do so before its CNY.
Signing off.
The Packard Bell Compasseo 370 served it's basic purpose of a GPS unit. It can direct me to the correct course to take and warn me of any ERP gantries and traffic cameras ahead. The after service of Packard Bell is pretty lousy. I have sent an email on some queries I have but till now I still did not get a reply. No wonder on the website forum of Packard Bell people complaint that the service is really bad. They better pull their socks up before they lose their market space.

Read someone's blog and got me thinking whether one can be friends with their exs. Do you feel randour with him/her. That's one question many may face at one point of time in their lives. When a couple broke up, where do the love go? Do people still lock in their bitter cold war after their break-up? With the increasing divorce rate, do one still believe love can last forever? when one person suggest to break-up, where has the love gone to? Does it go to the new relationship? Every relationship is different and so does the love.
