Cars That Rocks!

Hehe, in my opinion only... They ain't any sport cars but just simple cars that looks good to me. Anyway, I hope I can pass my driving and own one of these soon. Been surfing the net to look at the models that appeal to me. A car to me is just a form of transport and I am looking into reliability and 1.3 litre to 1.5 litre will do. Some of the models that caught my eyes...

2008 Mazda 2 B-segment five-door hatchback. Looks alittle like Toyata Yaris at the back though. The 2008 Mazda 2 is expected to be unveiled with three engine options, a 1.3 liter petrol (two variants - 74hp/118Nm and 83hp/121Nm), a 1.5 liter petrol (103hp/136Nm) as well as a 1.4 liter turbo diesel.

Most importantly, I must get my driving licence soon and then I will choose the car. :)

Song To Recommend

Heard this song Apologize by Timbaland featuring One Republic off radio recently and I found it rather cool. Guess I am bored since I am down with chicken poxs for the last few days. Anyway the lyrics:

Apologize by Timbaland featuring One Republic

I'm holding on your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground
And I'm hearing what you say
But I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down
But wait...
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around and say..

That it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
(But that's nothing new)
Yeah yeah

I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue
And you say
Sorry like an angel, heavens not the thing for you,
But I'm afraid

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologizes, it's too late
Woahooo woah

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, a yeah

I'm holding your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground...

Asaph & Angela Wedding

On the 11 Nov 2007, I witness the customary marriage of Asaph and Angela. I was one of the brothers who helped in the gatecrashing and photo-taking. It's really nice to see them looked so blissful. I had fun meeting up old friends at the wedding dinner too.

They looked so blissful :)

Commission Ceremony / Dinner

The ship was finally commissioned on 5 May 2007 after much anticipation. I was pretty excited and wanted things to go smoothly. All the rehearsals and wait was worth it.

BBK Trip

I had made a trip to Bangkok, Thailand recently with a friend to get away from work. It's been a nice trip for me overall. Took a late flight to Bangkok and arrived Asia Hotel at 2332H. Didn't do much stuff except wash up and prepare for some shopping next day. It's a pretty accessible hotel with BTS, Sky Train (Ratchathewi station) inter-linked at 2nd floor. The only complaint was that there's no kettle in the room even for Superior except in Deluxe rooms.

Day 1

Wake up at 7 am and my friend and I proceeded to have breakfast in the hotel.

Made our way using the Sky Train to the famous Erawan Shrine which was just 2 stations (Chit Lom) away from the hotel.

Went to Siam Paragon and some other shopping centers around before lunch. A pity World trade Center was closed for renovation. Had lunch at some pretty cool cafe called Greyhound Cafe in Siam Paragon. Loved the ambience.

Went to more shopping and even proceed to have sharkfin and birdnest in Chinatown.

Went Sala Daeng for more shopping... My feet were tired and my friend suggested some foot reflexlogy and we went to look around for something clean and not some sleazy place. My feet felt pretty good after the spa treatment.

Day 2

More shopping and more food. Wahaha...

Look what we had for dinner... At Nooodle Shop...

Day 3

No change in plans, it's still shopping but to Chatuchak (Mo Chit station) this time... My friend bought quite a number of Tee shirts.

Lunch in one of the stall in Chatuchak.

Unfortunately it rained pretty heavily in the afternoon. There was some flooding... We seized the opprtunity to rest our feet in a cafe.

We had dinner at Coca Restaurant again in Siam Paragon.

Went to Siam Center later and bought some tidbits and souvenirs for friends. In fact I didn't buy a lot of stuff. Look at my conquest and my friend's.

Day 5

Last day in Bangkok, had breakfast as usual. Went to the Erawan Shrine again to accompany my friend to pray. Both of us return to the hotel and we hit the gym.

We checked out of the hotel at 1140H and proceed to Bangkok Airport. We had lunch at the airport in a place called Silom Village. The service was pretty slow and to add to that, the Tom Yam Kung we had, the prawns were fresh. It was pretty expensive lunch too. It's not worth it.

Reached Singapore 1750H. A short trip but ended pretty fast. Had to work tomorrow and better make myself prepare for that.
